In its role as a broker of knowledge on development co-operation across partners, regions and modalities, and by acting as a platform for exchanging experiences and promoting innovation, the Global Partnership is uniquely positioned to act as one of the means of implementation for the 2030 Agenda.
The Global Partnership’s role as a platform for knowledge exchange and learning at country, regional and global levels is one of its key contributions to implementing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). At the country level, new insights support political decisions and commitments, which drive renewed efforts to innovate and improve the quality of development co-operation.
The Global Partnership is intensifying efforts to bring together the learning, knowledge and innovation on development effectiveness available across all development stakeholders to help scale solutions at a faster pace. It is helping to identify key challenges and innovations at the country-level, focusing on how to best deliver on the four, internationally-agreed development effectiveness principles.
