The UNDAF 2019-2021 was developed in a collaborative manner based on the national development priorities outlined in the Socio-Economic Development Plan (PDES, in French) 2019-2021, the comparative advantages of the UN system and the lessons learned from the evaluation of the UNDAF 2014-2018. It is a joint response of the UN system and relevant partners to the issues of inequality, inequity and vulnerability. The priorities and results are based on the principles of the system, as well as on the universal values of human rights, gender equality and equity.
