In an attempt to aid in the acceleration of the achievement of the SDG goals, a three-day conference entitled Caribbean Action 2030: Regional Conference on the Sustainable Development Goals  was hosted in Jamaica between June 28th -30th, 2017 to forge commitment and a common understanding about the region’s way forward. One of the key objectives of the conference was to provide a forum where empirical evidence on human development in the Caribbean can be presented and discussed.

In achieving this objective, a Partnership Framework was drafted and endorsed by the various Caribbean Governments present at the Conference. The Government of Jamaica is ensuring the final signature of the document, which will give an overall framework on how the Governments will work together and with other Regions to achieve the SDGs.
